One of the things that people don’t always realize when they become vegan is how big of a lifestyle change it is. If you’re serious about it, your makeup, clothes, shoes, lotions, perfumes, shampoos, furniture, and more have to be devoid of any animal products/ingredients.
In testing different vegan makeup brands, I’ve had my skin suffer from both allergies and break outs from using bad products. Below are the 4 makeup vegan must-haves that I think anyone would love. They are a little on the pricey side compared to drugstore brands, but they’re well worth saving up for!
1) The Tarte Cosmetics Amazonian Clay Airbrush Foundation is the best powder foundation you can find that will give you full coverage without needing to apply liquid foundation. I have a few acne scars on my skin and it didn’t take much product to cover that up. Huge plus, this powder doesn’t use preservatives. I recommend this product, especially if you have sensitive skin like me.

2) The OFRA Cosmetics Blush/Bronzer. I wasn’t a bronzer/highlighter/ eyeshadow girl until I found this product. I like to apply this to my cheeks and around my eyes (to give my eyes a brighter look).

3) The Bellapierre HD Makeup Primer is essential for any makeup collection, vegan or not. One pump on your fingertips is all you need for your makeup to look amazing (and it keeps your makeup on longer).

4) And last but not least, the Too Faced Melted Matte in the color rouge a levre is gorgeous, long-lasting, and great for a night out. But it’s not a perfect product; if you’re going to eat at a restaurant you’d need to bring it along with you to reapply.
